What are Phone Numbers

Phone numbers are the source of outbound voice calls and text messages. They also receive inbound calls and messages. Phone numbers are assigned to accounts at creation or can be added later to expand capability. An account can have one or many phone numbers.

Phone numbers can be configured in one of five ways:

Multi Purpose Phone Line

Our Multi-Purpose Line is a versatile configuration that can initiate multiple workflows via telephone keypad, text message, application interface, or scheduled events. This powerful tool streamlines your communication processes, making it easier to put critical information in the right place at the right time.

Single Purpose Phone Line

Our Single-Purpose Line is designed to perform a series of customizable actions every time it's activated by an inbound call or text message. This streamlined process ensures consistency and efficiency in your communication workflow.

Direct Connect Phone Line

The Direct Connect Line aims to connect inbound callers with your team members in real-time. If no one is available, the line captures a voicemail message for easy escalation within your organization, ensuring you never miss an important call.

Cascade Connect Phone Line

The Cascade Connect Line receives inbound calls and routes them to a predefined group of contacts, one at a time, until the caller is connected with a team member. If no one is available, the line captures a voicemail message for escalation, ensuring nobody goes unheard.

Interactive Voice Phone Line

Interactive Voice Response, or IVR phone lines, allow inbound callers to interact with our system using their telephone keypad. Calls can be routed to landlines, sat phones, mobile numbers, or even other Connect Rocket phone lines, ensuring a seamless experience.
