Browser Notifications
Connect Rocket provides Users with the option to configure browser notifications for select events in the Teams web application. These events include Locate & Message updates, Inbound Notifications and Channel posts. Modern browsers will permit these events to trigger both a banner and sound notification.
Configuration & Use
Each browser handles notifications differently and Connect Rocket does not have any control over how your browser handles configuration or delivery of notifications.
Users will be prompted to configure browser notifications when visiting the Locate & Message, Notifications or Channels tab. Browser notifications can also be configured in your browser settings.
If a User configures browser notifications, the above noted events will trigger a browser notification that can include a banner and notification sound. Notifications will appear unless the receiving tab is 'active' and the browser is visible to the User.
