Forward a channel post via web application

Channel forwarding allows you to forward a post made in one channel to other channels without having to retype your post or copy and paste your message.

Step 1

Sign into Connect Rocket and navigate to the Channels Tab. Type your message and post it to one of your channels.

Step 2

Once your post has been made, click the 3 horizontal dots located beside the channel post that you want to forward to another channel.

Step 3

Once the sub menu loads, click the 'Forward' option.

Step 4

A modal will load on your page displaying all of your groups. Select the group(s) that you would like to forward your post to and click 'Forward.'

Your post will now be forwarded to each of the channels that you have selected.

Notes

• If you want to delete a post that has been forwarded to multiple channels, you need to delete the post in each channel. Deleting the original post does not delete forwarded versions.
• The time and date stamp of a forwarded post reflects when the post was forwarded, not when the original post was made.
