What are Phone Numbers

Phone numbers enable your Connect Rocket account to access telecommunications networks for sending and receiving voice calls and text messages. They are optional and can be assigned to accounts at creation or added later to expand functionality. An account may have none, one, or multiple phone numbers.

Phone numbers fall into two categories: configurable and non-configurable.

Configurable Phone Numbers: These numbers can be assigned a specific phone line type and can be managed by users. Connect Rocket offers various phone line types to handle both inbound and outbound calls, each designed to meet different business use cases.

Non-Configurable Phone Numbers: These numbers are assigned to an account to meet specific use cases and cannot be edited by users. Non-configurable numbers can only be administered by Connect Rocket.
