Custom sorting groups

By default, groups sorted alphabetically (A-Z). This sort order applies to the groups index, conference call initiations, and notifications. You have the option to customize this sort order for your account if needed.


Step 1

Navigate to 'Manage Account' via the profile menu.

Step 2

From the 'Settings' page, locate the Group Sorting block and enable 'Allow custom sorting of groups.'

Step 3

Next, click Dashboard.

Step 4

From the Dashboard, select Groups.

Step 5

The groups index will remain alphabetically sorted, but a new icon will appear next to each group name. Click and hold this icon to drag and drop your groups into a custom order. Note that this custom order will be applied globally across the account, affecting all Users.

Should you wish to switch from custom sorting back to alphabetical, simply reverse the above steps and your groups will be once again be ordered alphabetically.
