Activating a Message Line by text message

In addition to voice activation, Message Lines can be activated by sending a text message to your Connect Rocket telephone number. This is particularly helpful for teams operating off-grid with limited voice connectivity, who rely on satellite messengers to stay connected.

To begin, create a text message from your mobile phone or satellite messenger and send it to the phone number associated with your Message Line.

You will receive a reply text message from Connect Rocket confirming that your message has been received and is being escalated.

If the Connect Rocket account owner has opted to verify any inbound text message requests, a human challenge will be returned to the initiating party. Once the human challenge has been completed, the original text message will be escalated within the organization.
