How do I stop SPAM calls to my Phone Line?
Unsolicited marketing calls to phone numbers can trigger 'false' activations without proper account configuration. To prevent unsolicited calls from triggering your Single Purpose Phone Line, you simply need to require an input from a caller before they can leave a message.
Navigate to 'Manage Account' via the profile menu.
Select 'Line Configuration' from the page navigation.
Select the Phone Line that is being subjected to the SPAM calls.
Navigate to the 'Single Workflow Line Settings' section. Enable 'Require caller to press any number before leaving a message'. Your phone line will now require any callers to press a number on their telephone key pad before they can leave a voice message.
If you enable this feature, you must update your custom greeting to provide callers with instructions so they know to 'press a number' at the appropriate time.
