Copying a Locate & Message conversation

You can copy the full contents of a Locate & Message conversation, including all timestamps, and paste it into another application, such as an incident report or case log. You need an Administrator or Dispatcher account.

On the Dashboard, select the Locate & Message tab.

To copy a conversation from a past session, select Past Locates, then open the session you want. For help finding it, see How can I view a past Locate & Message session?

Select the Messages tab, then select Copy Messages.

The conversation is now copied. For each message, the copy includes the date and time, the sender, the message content, and the translation if the message was translated. Other details shown on the screen, such as the battery level and language, are not copied. Paste it into any other application, such as a document, an incident report, or another tool your organization uses.
