Activating a workflow by text message
Your Workflow must be configured with Alphanumeric Activation before it can be triggered by text message. See Understanding Alphanumeric Activation and Configuring Workflows.
If your Workflow has been configured with Alphanumeric Activation, it can be triggered by sending a text message to your Connect Rocket phone number containing your Workflow's activation code.
Step 1
Open a new text message on your mobile phone and address it to your Connect Rocket phone number.
Step 2
Type Activate followed by a space and your 4-character Workflow activation code as the message body. For example: Activate RESQ. The code is not case sensitive.

Step 3
Send the message. If your activation code is valid, you will receive a reply text message from Connect Rocket confirming that your Workflow has been activated. Depending on the actions configured, your team will begin receiving notifications, conference call invitations, or pages within a few seconds.
If you enter an invalid activation code, Connect Rocket will advise you, so you can make another attempt.
