Configure a notification resend

When a notification includes a poll, you can configure one or more automatic resends to contacts who have not yet responded. This ensures your team has every opportunity to reply, even if they missed the original message.

Notification Resend is configured within the Notification action of a Workflow or call flow. See Configuring Workflows, Workflow Line Configuration, Message Line Configuration, Direct Connect Line Configuration, or Cascade Connect Line Configuration.

The Notification Resend option is only visible once a Poll has been added to the Notification action.

Step 1

Select Add Notification Resend within the Notification action to display the resend configuration options.

Step 2

Configure the following for each resend:

  1. Resend After — select how long after the original notification the resend should be sent. A range of intervals is available from 10 minutes to 90 days.
  2. Delivery Method — select the delivery method for the resend. All notification delivery methods available on your account can be selected.
  3. Remove — select the X icon to remove a resend.
  4. Add Notification Resend — select to add another resend. You can configure as many resends as needed.

Example: Two resends are configured — one sent 10 minutes after the original notification, and one sent 30 minutes after. Each resend is only sent to contacts who have not yet responded to the poll.
